Industrial Refrigeration Operators manage the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems in food manufacturing, cold storage, ice rinks, and commercial buildings. This fully online, self-paced program leads to the Holland College Industrial Refrigeration Operations Certificate and qualifies graduates to write the PEI Class B Refrigeration Power Engineer License exam. Three course packages cover Legislation/Safety ($1,100), Fundamentals ($1,600), and Operations ($1,600), plus four weeks of arranged on-the-job training in an active refrigeration plant. No prior experience is required.
